Deep Streams Massage & Body Work

Caring touch for collective healing

About my practice

Massage sessions are thoughtfully co-created with the client, centering their goals and needs first and foremost. Through intuition and an innate attunement to others, I weave together the various modalities that I have been trained in: swedish, deep tissue, shiatsu, and acupressure. I welcome anything that may come up physically, emotionally, energetically, and spiritually during our session, knowing that the body and spirit are entwined and hold deep history. Our bodies have an innate ability to heal themselves, and these sessions offer a container and support to gently undo blockages that live in us and in our tissues, contributing to pain, discomfort, and sickness.

I believe that the act of touching and working with people’s bodies is inherently political. Most of us carry around unresolved harm and pain that manifests in our tissues. The intentional violence often enacted upon anyone who is not part of the dominant culture in today’s world is undeniable. Without changing the underlying systemic conditions that harm our bodies, healing may not be possible. I am committed to being of service both on larger scales and in individual one-on-one sessions in my community.

About me

My name is Corey Chin! I graduated as a Licensed Massage Therapist from the Port Townsend School of Massage in 2024. I am of Chinese, Japanese, and mixed-European descent. I came to this work through a deep desire to be of service and offer care to my community in a meaningful way. My goal is to create a practice where everyone can feel welcome and held, especially those who are marginalized by society and alienated by the wellness world. It is an honor to be trusted to touch people’s bodies and I do so with great care, reverence, and understanding for all that our bodies hold. My other work includes co-organizing a BIPOC Family Program for multi-generational experiential education, and with the Second Growth Herb Collective which makes and distributes herbal medicine to frontlines and marginalized communities.
